Urvashi Dholakia Undergoes Surgery After A Tumour Was Detected In Her Neck; Bigg Boss 6 Winner Gives Health Update To Fans
Bigg Boss 6 winner Urvashi Dholakia was hospitalised recently as she underwent surgery and got her tumour in the neck removed
Urvashi Dholakia, known for her role as Komolika in the beloved show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, recently faced neck surgery following a cancer diagnosis. Confirming the situation, she mentioned, "In early December 2023, I had surgery to remove a diagnosed neck tumour (cyst). The surgery was successful, and I've been advised a rest period of 15 to 20 days." Additionally, her son, Kshitij Dholakia, shared a hospital picture of his mother on Instagram, featuring her resting on a bed and added a 'Get Well Soon' sticker.
Urvashi participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 as a contestant alongside choreographer Vaibhav Ghuge. Unfortunately, she was eliminated as the second participant from the show. Her journey in the entertainment industry began at the age of 6 with a television commercial alongside Revathi. She ventured into television with the role of Rajlaxmi in Doordarshan's series Shrikant. Gradually, she transitioned to adult roles, debuting in shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh as Shilpa and Waqt Ki Raftar on Doordarshan.
The Television sensation has showcased her talent in numerous shows, featuring in well-known series such as Dekh Bhai Dekh, Ghar Ek Mandir, Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Saheli, Mehendi Tere Naam Ki, Kahin Toh Hoga, and several others. She even appeared in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 6, portraying the character of Urvashi Kataria. Moreover, the actress has also achieved victory in the renowned reality show Bigg Boss 6 in the year 2013. She beat controversial contestant Imam Siddiqui to win Salman Khan's reality show.
